Christmasan and Literature

Santa Claus reads "The Christmas Story" by Charles Dickens.

Santa Claus, accompanied by a Christmas angel, reads “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens and distributes gifts to young and old alike.

Charles Dickens' “A Christmas Carol” is one of the most famous stories about Christmas. It dates back to the 19th century, is set in London, and, in good British tradition, is quite spooky.

"Evil, this sentence is certain,
is always the good that one leaves behind!"

This is the lesson that the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge must learn when he, the notorious Christmas hater, is visited by three ghosts who confront him with his own life. The famous story, which blends contemplation with the spooky in good English tradition, was written by Charles Dickens almost 200 years ago, but it is timeless.

The reading time is 15–20 minutes and is presented in a Christmas atmosphere with festive music.
