Comedy Researchers at the 11th Family Festival of the Neuss Rhine District

Every two years, the Rhein-Kreis Neuss Family Festival takes place in the famous bamboo groves at Schloss Dyck.

In addition to the stage performances, the cultural program in 2026 was provided by EventComedy with their “Explorer Walking Act.”

Time and again, the performers—equipped with pith helmets, backpacks, and binoculars—emerged from the bamboo thicket and surprised guests with stories about the bullfrog’s mating call and its effect on the development of flora and fauna. They described how the opposite of evolution—namely, regression in the biological sense—affects humanity. They compared the shortening waiting lines in front of the catering stands to the shortening of telomeres during cell division. Comedy at its finest.
